Export one Telegram chat as JSON for private chat statistics
Start with a single conversation you are allowed to process. Group Chat Awards accepts group exports; Couple Chat Awards requires a private chat with exactly two participants.
- In Telegram Desktop, open the conversation and its ⋮ menu → Export chat history.
- Choose machine-readable JSON, excluding media, then export.
- Select the resulting single-chat JSON in the matching Awards tool.
Use the single-chat export, not a whole-account archive containing several conversations. HTML exports cannot be parsed here. A newly signed-in Desktop session may require Telegram’s own approval or waiting period; follow that process. No account connection is needed by our tool.
Your file stays in browser memory. No chat upload, AI call or remote analysis. Ask the other participants before sharing a card. A product link contains no chat data; the image you attach is shared by your chosen app.
The tool accepts text/JSON, not ZIP or encrypted backups. Extract a ZIP on your device first. Its limits are 20 MB and 100,000 messages. Check the displayed date range and any date-order prompt. Missing history cannot be recovered.
