Make a couple chat recap without uploading your conversation
Choose one conversation between you and your partner. Both people have a stake in this private record. Get permission to process it, and ask separately before sharing an image or quote.
- Export a text-only WhatsApp chat using our iPhone/Android guide, or one private Telegram conversation as JSON.
- Confirm it is a one-to-one chat, import the local file, resolve ambiguous day/month dates and check the three free results.
- Keep anonymous labels or deliberately choose initials. Quotes stay hidden by default. Review the whole card before confirming partner consent and sharing.
Known Telegram groups and exports with more than two visible participants are rejected and linked to the Group edition. A WhatsApp TXT file does not reliably identify the chat type, so your one-to-one confirmation matters. Free cards are 540 × 960; the planned shared Awards license adds 1080 × 1920 cards and the full rules-based awards. Your first file date is not necessarily your first conversation.
Your file stays in browser memory. No chat upload, AI call or remote analysis. Ask the other participants before sharing a card. A product link contains no chat data; the image you attach is shared by your chosen app.
The tool accepts text/JSON, not ZIP or encrypted backups. Extract a ZIP on your device first. Its limits are 20 MB and 100,000 messages. Check the displayed date range and any date-order prompt. Missing history cannot be recovered.
